City bus strike in Barcelona

The Ministry of Employment has dictated an order for minimum services in an effort to guarantee basic transport services by Transports de Barcelona during the strike called by the Confederació General del Treball (CGT) union and the Associació de Conductors de Transports Urbans de Barcelona (Actub) union due to be held on 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th December and 2nd, 3rd and 4th January between 0:00 and 24:00.
The minimum service established will be the following:
Friday 21st December
During each day of the strike, for the remaining time not covered by the rush hour timetable, 25% of services will be provided on bus lines without an alternative service (9, 11, 13, 21, 24, 63, 65, 92, 95, 109, 157 and 193). The maximum time between buses is expected to be 30 minutes.
In the case of district buses, it has been established that one vehicle for each line will cover the route during rush hours.
Bus services necessary to provide the infrastructure for the established minimum services must be maintained.
