Object:
The basic purpose of the programme is to furnish first-, second- and third-cycle university students that need extra income for expenses derived from their course of study.

Scope:
Pupils of the Catalan university system and Catalan residents registered in non-Catalan universities

Adressees:
Beneficiaries must be registered for the 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 academic year in first, second or third-cycle official studies in centres that are part of or are attached to the university

Amount:
The maximum amount of the loan will be 9.000 euros.

Financial conditions:
Finantial conditions of loans will be as follows:
a) Capital return will start after two years of carency (only interests will be paid during that period)
b) Amortization period: up to seven years
c) Rate of interest: the corresponding to the Euribor 1 year in the moment of the formalisation of the loan, plus 0,50, with annual review
d) The interests payment will be monthly, except for the first two years, during which can be annual, always subjected to the criterion of the collaborating banking institutions. Capital amortizations will be monthly.
e) For students who obtained a scholarship from Ministerio de Educación during the academic year 2009-2010 or 2010-2011, the interest rate will be 0% during the first two years. From the third year on, the rate of interest will be the same as for other applicants.

Submittal deadline:
30/04/2011

Place of submittal:
In person, in the Agency for Administration of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) or by post.

To the application form (in Resources section) the following documentation must be attached:

a) Photocopy of personal identity card (NIF, NIE, Passport...)

b) Compulsed photocopy of the registration form for the 2010-11 course (certifying the payment, if it's already made, otherwise has to be certified later) or, if not available, compulsed photocopy of the admission certificate for 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 course.

c) If the applicant has received the Ministerio de Educación scholarship during the 2009-2010 or 2010-2011 course, a certification has to be handled.

d) Universitary students who participate in mobility programs such as Erasmus, Leonardo or Socrates may handle, alternatively to the registration form, a compulsed photocopy of the document confirming their participation in the programs and the centre of destination.

Decision:
In approximately ten days after submitting the application form in AGAUR's registration desk, the result will be available.
