Catalan Mobility Support Node

The Catalan Mobility Support Node is a Euraxess Service Centre which aims to coordinate initiatives that foster RDI talent attraction and facilitate the mobility of talent in Catalonia.

The Node acts as a platform for the institutions from the Catalan university and research centres which become members to help researchers and their families.

The Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR), as coordinator, is intended to promote services for the platform, providing specialized support to its members.

The Node’s activities:

  • To give information and support in terms of mobility of researchers and their families.
  • To streamline the legal formalities with the relevant administrations.
  • To provide training and expert advice.
  • To make available opportunities for mobility and career development.
  • To behave like a lobby and pressure group: coordination of specific working groups and communication with other institutions.
  • To interact with the Spanish and European Networks of Mobility Centres EURAXESS.

The Node forms part of the European Mobility Strategy for Researchers in the European Research Area and is a service centre of the European and the Spanish Mobility network EURAXESS, set up to promote and facilitate intra-European mobility of researchers.
