Experts call for more languages to be used in media and new technologies
Experts from all over the planet have spoken out in favour of linguistic diversity at a seminar organised by Linguamón in São Paulo (Brazil). The event was inaugurated by Kiyo Akasaka, the UN under-secretary-general for communications and public information, who appealed for governments to establish 'laws to protect linguistic diversity'.
