 atSalut looks after the needs of its policy-holders and guarantees them a number of complementary services: orthoprosthetics, health transport, treatment with complex dietary-therapeutic products and oxygen therapy at home.
Orthoprosthetic services
CatSalut guarantees all those covered access to the following orthoprosthetic services that specialist doctors can prescribe:
· The prescription and renovation of permanent or temporary orthopaedic limbs (external limbs).
· Vehicles for desabled people.
· Orthosis.
· Special limbs.
Health transport
Health transport involves the transfer of people who are not able to get to medical care. They can be provided with a specially adapted vehicle, along with suitably trained staff.
Treatment with complex dietary-therapeutic products
These are treatments carried out using dietary foods for special medical uses.
Oxygen and other respiratory therapies at home
This complementary service is carried out by specialist centres or services that are authorised by the health authorities to practice gasometry and spirometry techniques.
