Master's course objectives:
To train professionals able to: (a) Analyse the causes and determining factors of health and welfare in today's society globally and prospectively, (b) To draw up strategies and activities to respond to immediate needs, to prevent the most prevalent health problems or to promote health and welfare in the community, and (c) To reflect on and propose new alternative models to people, organisations and official bodies in order to understand health and welfare in the current context.
Prospective career opportunities:
The specific contexts in which students will learn analysis, managament, intervention and investigation in Health and Welfare issues are all those relating to the following fields: eduaction, health, social services, NGOs, government departments, research and business empresarial.
