Master's course objectives: |
This master's course responds to the need to overcome the academic obstacles between the disciplines of communication, information, linguistics and technologies. It provides interdisciplinary training within the concepts, sciences and engineering of a new emerging class of applications, installations and artefacts, in real use, known generically as Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media (CSIM). The Masters is at the crossroads of Humanities in particular audiovisual communication and linguistics , science from psychology to biology and technology information engineering. It thus trains students to contribute to this interdisciplinary field as researchers and/or as professionals in one of two specialist areas: one more focused on humanities and the other centred more on technology. Students will achieve:
-mastery of a series of skills that will enable them to focus their knowledge and creativity on specific activities.
-a wide knowledge of the various disciplines that constitute the foundation of their field of research and/or profession.
-efficient use of relevant methods, procedures and technologies normally used in the design, construction and analysis of CSIM and their applications.
-the integration of procedures, methods and knowledge between disciplines and paradigms.
-a practical understanding of all aspects related to CSIM.
-the ability to coordinate and manage complex and multidisciplinary projects.
-being able to document and communicate complex projects efficiently.
-the ability to analyse and interpret information and complex contents efficiently.
-the ability to meet technological challenges from a perspective within the humanities.
-the ability to meet conceptual challenges from a technologically well-founded standpoint. |
