In this section we provide guidance for prospective students thinking of applying for a place at a Catalan university. We describe the standard University Entrance Examinations (PAU, or Proves d'Accés a la Universitat, in Catalan), and the examinations set for candidates over the age of 25 and for those who have received previous professional or university training. There is information for foreign students interested in studying at a Catalan university.Also
in this section we describe the process of applying for admission to the public
universities and the University of Vic. This process is known as university
pre-enrolment.
