
Undergraduate courses
The objective of these courses is for students to obtain general
training geared towards preparation for professional activities.
These are 240-credit (ECTS) qualifications, equivalent to a minimum
study period of 4 years.
Exceptionally, certain degrees may have more credits and a longer
duration.
The official qualification that is obtained upon successful completion
this course is “graduate”.
All undergraduate courses belong to one of the following fields:
Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Legal
Sciences, Engineering or Architecture.
The field conditions the basic subjects that have to be taken
in the first two years.
Undergraduate syllabuses will contain at least the following activities:
basic subjects, obligatory and optional subjects, work experience
and final-year project.
The Government of Catalonia was especially concerned with placing
emphasis on the fact that all undergraduate syllabuses at Catalan
universities contain work experience undertaken in companies or
institutions and also subjects that guarantee knowledge of English.
