Universities master’s degrees
For the first time university master’s degrees will be configured
as a study period with full official recognition and validity,
which until now at this level was only applied to doctorate studies.
These university courses aim to provide students with advanced
multidisciplinary education geared towards academic or professional
specialisation or to promoting the start of research work.
Students can be admitted once they have completed their undergraduate
courses. Master’s degrees can be studied by anyone that has
an official university qualification: four- or five-year degree,
engineer, architect, three-year degree, teacher, engineering technologist
and architectural technologist.
Between 60 and 120 credits, equivalent to one or two years, are
required to obtain a university master’s degree.
