of credits of advanced level vocational training cycles General information on the recognition of credits between advanced level vocational training cycles and university studies
The aim of this agreement is to provide two routes: 1. The route from advanced level vocational training cycles to university, for the recognition of credits between specific advanced level vocational training cycles and some university studies. Under the application of this agreement, the Catalan universities will validate as subjects already completed the credits that have been determined in the different recognition agreements, between advanced level vocational training cycles and university courses. These credits will be shown as recognised in the academic record of university courses. The experience is applicable to people with advanced technical qualifications from the above-mentioned training cycles who undertake the university studies specified in the recognition agreement. Students qualified from an advanced level vocational training cycle who wish to take university studies for which the recognition of credits is established, must present a certificate at the secretary's office of the corresponding university centre to prove they have passed the training cycle, if they wish the class hours that correspond to them to be reduced. 2. The route from university to advanced level vocational training cycles, for the recognition of specific CFGS (Advanced Level Training Centre) credits for students qualified with specific university studies who request it. The Directorate General for Vocational Training and Lifelong Education of the Ministry of Education will award recognition for those credits from training cycles that are considered to have been completed for students with specific university qualifications, who request it from the secretary's office of the corresponding centre of secondary education.
