Having passed the secondary school diploma-level exams with a mark of 5 or higher, students wishing to sit the PAU should enrol online at the address https://accesnet.gencat.net, and pay the corresponding fee within the dates fixed in each case. Students in the last year of secondary school At the end of February, all the students registered in 2nd year of Batxillerat (last year of secondary school) in Catalonia should pre-enrol via Internet (https://accesnet.gencat.net)
giving the following
:
This pre-enrolment will not be modifiable in any case, in the June sitting. Later, students will complete their enrolment online, at the address https://accesnet.gencat.net and on the dates shown in the schedule and timetable section. Students entering individually Students with secondary schooling completed before the 2007/2008 academic year (pending sitting the University entrance exam (PAU) or who want to improve the grade obtained on previous occasions) and students who have studied abroad and whose qualifications are accepted as equivalent to the Batxillerat (these students will be enrolled in the university assigned to the school where they did the 1st year of Batxillerat) should enrol online, at the address https://accesnet.gencat.net and on the dates shown in the schedule and timetable section. Adaptation of students coming from COU (the last year of secondary school in the old school system) Students with COU (the last year of secondary school in the old school system) after the 1974/75 academic year will have to adapt to the actual University entrance exam (PAU), in accordance with the transitional provisions set out in Royal Decree 1640/1999, of 22 October which regulates the examination for access to university studies (BOE (Spanish Official Gazette) No. 257, 27.10.99). The regulations provide that these students can take the University entrance exam (PAU) via any of the access paths (Sciences-Technology, Health Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Arts). It is therefore very important to select the path according to the subjects to be read at university.
These students will have four opportunities to pass the University entrance
exam (PAU). There is no limit to the number of times the exam can be
taken to improve the grade in the University entrance exam (PAU).
How to improve a grade Students who want to improve the mark obtained in the University entrance exam (PAU) can repeat it as many times as they want, without making any change to the subjects, in any examination session in the same university, unless properly justified by change of residence. If he/she does not better the previous grade, or in the event of failure, the initial grade will stand, bearing in mind that the University entrance exam (PAU) does not expire.
When
the opportunity is taken to improve
a grade, the examination
will be taken for only one of the various access paths that are provided.
