Student support services

These are the services that complement the academic training and which help in all aspects of your studies.

Information and guidance

All Catalan universities have guidance and information services, either individualised or on-line. These services will help you and inform you about everything that concerns your studies and the services of the university that you might need during your stay.

Library service

University libraries have a large, accessible documental collection, with a computerised catalogue. They are very useful places and have the bibliographical collections necessary for your studies.

Each faculty usually has its library, and the documental collection in each of them can be consulted from any of the libraries of the public universities. There is an interuniversity loan service.

When you register with the university, each student is given a university card, which is what he or she will use to request library loans.

Computer rooms

Each university has study rooms and computer rooms that can be used for doing work, studying or reading.

They are areas that are suitable for studying.

Languages service

The language services provide knowledge of some languages, and for students from abroad, they offer Catalan and Spanish classes to make your stay easier.

You can consult them on the university website, to find out more about the courses offered.
